In the Studio

Thrd Generaton is a queer space. This means we want everyone who comes into the studio to feel welcomed and accepted. Here, we encourage fluidity and fatness, exploration and play. We are free from judgement as we learn and teach in collaboration with each other. Any displays of hatred or violence will be condemned and those who participate will be asked to leave the space immediately.

Cancellations

If you are unable to attend your session, whether as part of the six week sewing workshop or a two hour session, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer your space to another participant!

By cancelling with 24 hours notice or more, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a credit for the full amount of your session, if already paid.

refunds

At this time, we are unable to issue refunds on lessons, workshops, and custom orders. Credits will be provided to those who wish to reschedule their sessions; these can be used to register for a new session, or for custom projects.

Deposits are non-refundable.

Payment

Payment is accepted in a few different ways. For workshops and lessons, we require a non-refundable deposit or full payment. If participants choose to submit a deposit, they will have the option to pay the remaining balance in full at their first session, or to pay in installments each week.

For custom projects, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required in order to cover the costs of materials and primary labour (design and preparation). The deposit will be deducted from the final total.

We accept debit, credit, and cash payments.

Covid-19

All participants and the instructor must wear a mask at all times while in the studio.

All participants must prove that they have been fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 at least two weeks prior to the start of their workshop or lesson. Please see the Ontario’s Human Rights Code for more information about the requirement of vaccination proof.

In the event of another provincial lockdown, all participants will be contacted to reschedule their workshops or sessions.
